Digital Paint Study #01

I just bought a set of Impasto Oil Brushes for Photoshop from grutbrushes.com. Yesterday I put them to the test, as I did this study of a nicely lit portrait photo, that I found on the web. The brushes are great fun to play with, and I think they do an excellent job in hiding the digital aura that is often very visible in Photoshop paintings.
Apart from the Impasto Oil Brushes i only used two homegrown brushes to add some toothbrush action and do a tiny bit of bristly smear for the hair.
